Formula 3 is one of the oldest racing classes in the world and corresponds to the third tier in the hierarchy of international motorsports, the top tier of which is the Formula 1. The second tier of the pyramid has changed frequently over time. Championships that currently position themselves as second-tier classes include Grand Prix 2, Formula Renault V6, A1 Grand Prix and Formula 3000. However, many Formula 1 pilots come to the class straight from the third tier, mostly from their national Formula 3 championships.
The German and British Formula 3 championships are traditionally considered the most competitive ones. The Formula 3 Euroseries has recently become strong as well. Pilots who succeed in the Formula 3 have no trouble signing contracts with teams that compete in more powerful classes.
Since the season 2009, "Art-line" participates in ATS Formel-3 Сup. It is one of the most prestigious European series, uniting pilots from 18 countries and racing teams from seven countries of the world. To learn more about the series, please visit an official site formel3.de
