2007 was a triumphal season or the team. For the first time in history it was able to take away not just the gold from Lukoil, but also the individual silver medal and the team gold. In the middle of the season Istok Art-Line Racing switched to the ArtTech chassis and continued winning. On September 15 in Finland Victor Shaitar, using a Russian formula, passed both Lukoil Racing teams, which were on Dallaras. Shaitar won the joint race of Formula 1600 pilots and over a dozen Finnish pilots on Formula 3 cars, including the teams of Rami Raikkonen and Mika Salo. Ivan Samarin enjoyed a decisive victory in the national championship.
The team chose to spend the entire season of the Finnish Formula 3 championship on ArtTech formulas with 2-liter engines. Russia is also coming back in the Formula 3 class, seeking to become integrated in the North European and consequently worldwide motorsports.
2007 Season Results: Art-Line Engineering won 10 out of 16 races. It received double golds in individual (Ivan Samarin and Victor Shaitar) and team races at the Championship and in the Governor’s Cup, as well as a gold medal at a stage of the Finnish Formula 3 race (Victor Shaitar).
